It's been a long wait but as we see from the previews it'll definitely worth the wait. Sweden's favorite sons finally set the release date for the live CD+DVD pack entitled "Alive". -- Amon Amarth 'Vs. The World' reissue details

Swedish viking's both critically and fan-wise praised album is now being reissued via Metal Blade on 6/7 November.
This is the statement from Metal Blade about the release:
The re-issue comes in a lavish Double-digipak with an individual three-dimensional fold-out pop-up. All four digipak reissues add up to one big picture when put together. CD 1 includes the remastered ’Versus The World’ album. CD 2 bears the same tracklist as CD 1, recorded live at the band's December 31, 2008 show as part of the ‘Bloodshed over Bochum’ concert series. Add to this a 16-page booklet with interesting liner notes.

-- Deadwalk's Scandalous intentions

Montreal sons Deadwalk has just issued a video teaser of their debut record Scandalous. Recently They've joined forced with ex-To Die For frontman Greg Kepka. Whatsmore Scandalous will also feature a guest appeareance of Stick To Your Guns's voice Jesse Barnett. The record is now scheduled for a November 24, 2009, release via Year of the Sun Records. -- Disarmonia Mundi's Isolation Game is ready!

The Isolation Game is the title of the italian metallers Disarmonia Mundi's brand new record. 13 new tracks was recorded and produced at The Metal House Studio by the band's very own Ettore Rigotti. There are some very ntoable guest appearances by Björn "Speed" Strid (Soilwork) on vocals and Olof Morck (Nightrage) on some lead guitar shredding. The album will be released in December by Coroner Records.
Perdition Haze from the new album will be available in full as streaming media and digital download at the Disamonia Mundi's MySpace page.

-- Swiss pagan army studio update: Eluveitie

According to Eluveitie's label Nuclear Blast, the band has finished the recording sessions for their upcoming release "Everything Remains as it never was". The mixing process of the new Eluveitie songs will be held by none other than Colin Richardson and Martyn "Ginge" Ford in Wales. Here's the cover artwork of the album which is due to be out early 2010.

-- New member on board and studio update from the AEON front

Aeon has announced they' ve parted ways with their bass player Max Carlberg who has been on board for almost 4 years and did a fine job at band's 2007 release Rise To Dominate. The official statement and comments about the member change from the band is as follows:"First of all we want to state that Max is a great bass player and a real nice person. Unfortunately, he couldn't handle the life on the road all that well. We noticed how he struggled through the last tour we did. He really loves the actual moment on stage, but everything else around that comes with the life on the road was just a great deal of pain for him. So both AEON and Max agreed that this way of life wasn't exactly made for him."
They've also announced the new bass player: "When one leaves, a new one has to come…and there is no difference in this case. Our new bass player is a great, well experienced musician who is really into death metal. We think that this guy is absolutely perfect for the spot. So let's rise the horns high and welcome our new bass player, Victor Brandt (Totalkt Javla Mörker, former Satyricon touring bassist) to Aeon. We are looking forward to all the great death metal madness we got ahead of us with our new member."
Though as reported by the band, the bass duties of the new album is taken care of by guitar players Daniel and Zeb right now at the recording sessions which has already kicked off on September 1st. No release dates are confirmed at the moment but the new Aeon full-length will again be out via Metal Blade Records and will be mixed by Eric Rutan.

New Evergreen Terrace record will be hitting the stores on September 29th according to Metal Blade's myspace blog entry. Almost Home was recorded at Martell Studios and Audio Hammer Studios. "We've always had a lot of pop culture references in our song titles and this record is no exception. Before we even started writing new songs we already have a list of titles from books, movies, and comedians. Half of the song titles on this record are pulled from the lyrics. The others are pop culture references that relate to the lyrical content." states ET's six stringer Josh James about the new record.

-- Unearth releases “The March” again as a special edition!

Metal Blade Records announced that Unearth's latest full-length The March will be re-released with a bunch of cool bonus material on November 10th. Alongside the audio cd there'll be a special bonus dvd consisting of a tour documentary named The Three Day March shot by Doug Spangenberg. Video footage from The March's recording sessions and band's party visuals from their recent tour with thrash legends Testament titled Gig Life will be also be presented in the bonus DVD. You think that's all? It seems not. There'll also be live videos from Unearth's Wacken 2008 performance and three music videos of the songs including soon to be released ones for Grave Of Opportunity and Crow Killer.

The recordings, which were started in June with Jack Endino's presence at the mixing desk finally completed and an exclusive track from the new record is now online at Skeletonwitch's myspace page. The new opus from Athens' most metal five piece is titled Breathing the Fire and it'll be out via Prosthetic Records on October 13.
